How do we book Kayleigh Scott Photography?

First, you need to check if I am available on your date. You can do this online or by phoning. If you like we can arrange a meeting to discuss your wedding requirements. There is no charge for this consultation. Should you wish to book, just complete a booking form and return it with £100 deposit.

What packages do you offer?

I know just how daunting the whole process of picking a wedding photographer can be, so we keep things as simple as possible. If you prefer a digital only package with a USB or package with Albums, parent albums and prints this is available too!

Are there travel costs included?

Travel is included where the wedding is held within Glasgow, Ayrshire, Inverclyde and parts of Argyll. Small fees apply to outlying Islands such as Bute, Arran, etc Please advise us of your location and I can cost the travel for you.

How many photographs will we get?
My average for 8 hours’ coverage is upwards of 500.  This really depends on the format of the day and the length of coverage.

Are family & friends able to buy our wedding photos online?

Yes our Imagepartner website will host your images. You will be given a unique link by email which you can share as your wish. Our lab printing partner will send them directly to the guest buying the photos. Paypal/credit/debit cards are accepted on the site.

How long before we see our wedding images?

I like to have a small preview within a week sent by email/facebook if time allows.

Within 4-6 weeks, you will receive a link to our online wedding gallery imagepartner. This will allow you to view all images from the day, as well as selecting those you would like for your album if needed.

How does the album process work?

After you have viewed and picked your images, I personally design the album layout , to ensure that it reflects the flow of your special day. I then send low resolution proofs via email for your approval. After approval they are sent to the lab and then myself for assembly. Depending on lab lead times & photographic work flow this can take up to 6 weeks.

Do you take traditional posed shots?

I do take traditional family pictures in addition to a more natural candid style. While they may not be as exciting as some of my spontaneous photos , I appreciate the value and the history behind the traditional family portrait. Since each wedding is unique, I allow each couple to choose how many and which family shots are done if they so wish.

Will our files be watermarked?

No, I do not watermark your final jpeg files which are held on USB and sent out with your album. You are free to share these images online and print freely. I do appreciate a little mention of my business name when you post them online.

What happens if we cancel our wedding?
In most cases your booking fee will be non-refundable .In some cases, if it’s close to the date of the wedding, the balance may also be due.  Because of this it’s worth making sure you are fully covered with wedding insurance.

What happens if you’re ill on the day?
No wedding photographer can give a 100% guarantee against illness, however I give you my full assurances that only a very serious illness or other exceptionally serious circumstances would prevent me from attending your wedding. I have never had cause to cancel or not attend a wedding to date and I take my obligation to you, on your wedding day, very seriously.

If I am unable to attend for any reason I will do my upmost to find you a replacement photographer – I have a great network of photographers who I can contact in circumstances like this – and if I am unable to do so you would of course receive a full refund.
